Anyone can call our office directly for services. You can also be referred by your child’s school or your primary care physician. A referral is not needed.
There is no charge for Family Connection services.
We will do our best to accommodate your needs. Office visits are available to anyone.
Through asthma education we can help you to manage your child’s asthma by identifying the following:

We talk with you about what has already been tried and what has and hasn’t worked in the past and we work together to develop a new plan to implement. Changing your child’s behavior usually has to start with the parent. This is not to imply that your parenting is wrong but only that you be willing to try something different to get different results. We will help you to determine where the behavior is coming from and assist you in finding successful ways to improve your child’s behavior.
Usually it takes about 4 weeks. However if your child is being denied health care and qualifies we can complete a presumptive eligibility application, which means your child can become covered within a day or two.
We are a non-profit community agency; we are not DCYF state workers. Our involvement is strictly voluntary and our work is based on your needs as a family. However, we are mandated by law to report any signs of child or elder abuse.
Yes, we don’t work for the housing authority, but we do have applications on hand and can assist you with completing them.
