Three Notch Century 2013

Join SeaCare for the Three Notch Century Cycling Challenge on Saturday, September 7th, 2013!

Ride 100-miles or 40-miles

The Three Notch Century will challenge Team SeaCare cyclists to conquer 100-miles in one day. Cyclists will start at the North Conway Grand Hotel in North Conway, NH and will ride up and over the Kancamangus Highway, through Franconia Notch, Crawford Notch and back to North Conway. Team SeaCare cyclists can either ride the entire 100-miles or share the route as a relay.  There is a 40-mile route as well if you’re interested in a shorter ride.

Thank you to all of our cyclists for another successful fundraising event for SeaCare!  Thanks to our riders, donors and sponsors, Team SeaCare raised over $15,000! 

We had another great event, but the weather made for an interesting day.  The ride started off with some light rain, but the weather cleared and gave way to sunshine by the time we arrived in Lincoln.  As we entered the Twin Mountain area we were greeted by WIND.  The kind of wind that can take your breath away, spit sand in your face and nearly knock you off your bike – WOW – it was intense!  It made the ride from Twin Mountain to Crawford Notch incredibly challenging, but we made it and earned some serious bragging rights along the way!

Thank you again for supporting Team SeaCare!  Our Team worked hard to raise money for SeaCare and you can feel good knowing that your donation is helping individuals in need receive access to quality health care services.
